Jaron Albertin was born and raised in Vancouver, BC where he received a Graduate Diploma in Broadcasting and Technology. He moved to Toronto in 2003 where he quickly became a top editor and effects artist for Canadian music videos, earning MMVA nominations for best editing and post production within his first year.

He has since started directing and has gained recognition for his conceptually bizarre and often intense music videos for artists such as DFA 1979, Mew, Cut Copy, Maximo Park and Circlesquare. The advertising world has now seen equally unusual commercials from Albertin, for company's like Diesel and Adidas. In the past year his work has been featured in many international publications such as Shots, Promo Magazine, Tokion, Nylon and the Fader, while the Diesel "dream" graced the cover of Boards Magazine. The dark and ominous Circlesquare promo was showcased last year in Resfest 2005.
