Shot on the relatively new ‘Red Camera’ under the camera work of Oscar-winning cinematographer, Dion Beebe, Ford Fusion has made quite the impression in the Red Cam world.
Fusion is being recognized as not only the first car commercial shot with the Red Cam, but the first time the Red Cam has been used in a quote on quote ‘real ‘ situation.

Post-Production Notes:
“Ford “Ice” was extremely challenging to execute in numerous aspects. First and foremost, rendering in 1080P HD with true 3D motion blur, raytraced reflections & refractions, as well as global illumination features produced almost-prohibitive rendertimes. It was not uncommon to have frames require between 4-12 hours to complete. Since each shot was rendered in numerous layers, the rendertimes were even greater in most cases.”
