Aliaksei studied classic art in Minsk (Belarus) and further enhanced his artistic abilities at the painting department of the Art Academy in Poznan (Poland). During his formal training he studied contemporary art and was actively participated in international exhibitions and cutting edge art projects. While painting was a passion he also began to seek other mediums that more opportunity to express himself through movement, action and social commentary. Video production provided such an outlet.
In 1997 Aliaksei, in collaboration with another artist Maxim Tyminko, made their first unique music video for a popular Belarussian band. The music video - "Lyapis Trubetskoi" - became a mega hit on Russian MTV.
Further he was engaged in broadcast design and TV advertising and during that time he developed design for such channels as MTV Russia, O2 TV (Moscow),1 Music Channel (Minsk), and was honored to receive several international awards for his commercials and TV design.
He then took on the task of music video director and produced a video that has been called "extraordinary and unique" and "a new and exciting style." His latest work "Capital", again by Lyapis Trubetskoi was awarded the first prize at the alternative and rock festivals in Russia and Belarus as the best video. It was also recognized at international festivals in Europe and America.
The range of his work extends from commercials, music videos to big screen movie titles with his most recent title design being a new Russian comedy "Hitler Kaput!".
